Project prices vary depending on the size of the home and the level of detail that is depicted in the final drawings.
Prices typically range from $2.00 – $12.00 per square foot.
What makes an intentional home different from a standard home design?
Intentional homes withstand the test of time. Their design is based upon principles that do not
go out of style. A standard home or “builder grade” home typically focuses on maximizing
square footage while being as inexpensive as possible. Our design approach focuses on
creating an intentional home by prioritizing critical details such as functionality, the flow of the
interior and exterior spaces, and specifying quality finishes. Doing so will ensure the home still
captivates those it welcomes 100 years from now.
How does the design process work?
After scheduling your initial consultation, we will meet with you to discuss your project, establish
your needs and wants for the design, and begin creating a “design program” which will guide our
process moving forward.
Shortly after this meeting, we will send you a project proposal which includes the cost and the design program. Then, we will begin designing your home. You can expect to have first iteration
ready to review within two weeks. Any additional design iterations will be performed before
sending over the final design.
Once the design has been finalized, we will collaborate with your builder and other construction
professionals to create your build-ready set of plans.
